Successful AGM held Thursday – The Highlights |
I’m pleased to advise that a very successful, albeit unique, Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Thursday with 33 members participating in this Zoom meeting. A quorum is 25.
The highlights were: As there was no nomination for VP, and as provided for in the club constitution, the directors expect to fill the post by co-option in the next few weeks and members will be advised in due course. And so that’s about it for another year and I have pleasure in also attaching the Club Administration document for 2020-21. This reflects all the above and other appointments and lists all the officers and post holders in each section and functional area of the club – a very impressive list I think you’ll agree and all volunteers! Finally, let’s hope that sanity prevails and we can all get back on the course sooner rather than later. In anticipation of a limited return to golf in December your new Management Committee is to consider ‘Return to Golf’ arrangements at its next meeting on Monday. What is certain is that with very limited light at this time of year and continuing strong demand for tee slots some form of management of tee-time availability will be required. Watch this space! In the meantime please stay safe. Peter Knowles |
