Sportsman’s Dinner with Alan Tait, well known Scottish Golfer and Golf Commentator

Golfers and golf fans are invited to a Sportsman’s Dinner on Friday 6th March at Bracken Ghyll Golf Club in Addingham where we are delighted to have Alan Tait as our guest speaker, supported by well-known Northern comedian, John Scott.

 

Alan is a well know Scottish golfer, golf commentator and after diner speaker probably best known for being the first player to shoot an 8 under par 64 on the Championship Course at Carnoustie – a record that stood for 23 years until Tommy Fleetwood went one better in 2017. Following this course record Alan was invited to play a practice round at Carnoustie with Ben Crenshaw and Tiger Woods -the stories of which are not to be missed..
