Return To Golf #2. All COVID ‘rules’ still apply. Please remain vigilant.
Dear Michael,

Yes, it’s going to be great to get back to golf on Wednesday and it’s good to see so many members taking the opportunity to get back on the course even at this time of the year. A good time also to get used to your new WHS handicap index (HI) and how it works.

Firstly, on behalf of your Management Committee, I’d like to thank you for your wholehearted compliance with our ‘Return to Golf’ policies and procedures as advised to members last week. All seems to be progressing smoothly.

However the main purpose of this email is to remind you that ALL COVID-19 ‘RULES’ STILL APPLY and that we all need to REMAIN VIGILANT.

In particular:
* Do not arrive at the Club more than 15 minutes before your tee-time unless you have business in the Pro-Shop;
* Do not use the changing rooms except for use of the toilets and wash hand basins;
* Do not congregate at the clubhouse entrance, inside the clubhouse or on the patio;
* Always wear a mask when entering the clubhouse;
* Maintain social distancing at all times and the ‘Rule of 6’ applies on the patio;
* On course disciplines remain as before e.g. don’t touch the flagstick, no bunker rakes or ball cleaners, social distancing, keep gates open, shelter at the 5th tee out of use etc.

Finally your Management Committee is meeting again on Thursday to review the operation of our ‘Return to Golf’ policies and you will be advised of any changes immediately after the meeting.

In the meantime thank you for continuing understanding, co-operation and support and enjoy your return to golf. You will definitely see one or two changes upon your return, starting on the very first tee – now there’s a teaser!

Stay safe. Play safe.
