Please do your ‘bit’ to protect the course

Please do your ‘bit’ to protect the course
The two weeks since lockdown ended have coincided with relentlessly wet weather, and with the course understandably busy you will know that there are areas which are increasingly stressed.

Can I encourage all players to do their bit to minimise the damage to the course by following these guidelines:
• Please carry your clubs if you can;
• If you need to use your electric trolley please use winter wheels. These cause much less damage to the course and can be obtained from Mark.
• Please keep to the fairways and paths where possible and adhere to diversions put in place by green staff;
• Always repair your pitch marks and any others you may come across on the greens;
• Please replace your divots and others you might come across as you play.

The forecast is slightly better leading up to Christmas but we are still going to be faced with a wet course for the foreseeable future. So let’s all do our bit to try and maintain acceptable playing conditions.

Thank you and stay safe.
