Phased Return to Competitive Golf – The Next Stage

England Golf guidance recommended that Clubs focus on social golf rather than competition during the initial stages of our return to golf.

Although that approach has been very successful we recognize that many members would welcome the opportunity to play in competitions.

However when doing this we must continue to comply with government guidelines re social distancing etc and also England Golf guidance relating to minimising the physical touching of scorecards and computer screens along with alternative methods of competition entry and returning scores etc.

We are currently striving to address all these requirements in a consistent and pragmatic way and we expect to be in a position to offer Qualifying Competitions and the facility to submit Supplementary Scores in the near future.

In the meantime we will be introducing a form of Non-Qualifying Competition during the first week of June and the Lady, Men’s and Seniors’ Captains will be sharing more information shortly.
