Sadly it appears, that despite a petition with more than 250,000 signatories, there will be no reprieve for golf – although there has been no official confirmation yet.
That means that effective from Thursday the course and clubhouse will be closed and all BRS tee bookings from that date have been removed. As you would expect your Management Committee are currently reviewing options for maintaining the course and the potential furloughing of staff and members will be advised of arrangements in due course. In the meantime please be assured that the security and well-being of all our staff is paramount in our thinking. Peter Knowles |
