| As you’re aware the current situation is causing serious problems for Bracken Ghyll and indeed all golf clubs but please be assured that your directors and management team are spending many hours working on your behalf to successfully guide us through this crisis. As a member owned club it will be you, the members, that see us through this situation in the long run.
As previously advised our Head GreenKeeper (and fellow member), Rob Walker, and his team are continuing the maintenance of the course whilst observing all necessary social distancing and sanitisation precautions to ensure that they stay safe and we have a great course to come back to when this is all over. Many thanks to them for their commitment and dedication. We’re also extremely grateful for the support we’ve received from our members to date, including our Life and 10 Year members. Our Treasurer, Tony Fox, is working hard to gather all the necessary information to enable us to access all the government assistance that has been promised. There will be further communications as and when we have more details to share but in the meantime please stay safe and I, like you, look forward to returning to our brilliant golf course as soon as circumstances allow.
