The British Journal of Sports Medicine has published a study suggesting that people who play golf live longer than those who do not. Researchers reviewed 5,000 studies into golf and found it had physical and mental health benefits for people of all ages. Balance and muscle endurance were improved by playing the sport and it was also likely to improve cardiovascular, respiratory and metabolic health. The game of golf is wonderful for the psyche. It keeps the mind alert and can provide an excellent social scene.
Now, there is the golden opportunity for local ladies to test this theory for themselves!
