| SENIORS WHARFEDALE TROPHY COMPETITION Open to male members over the age of 55 with a qualifying handicap The Wharfedale Trophy, is a summer 18-hole singles knock-out match play competition off full handicap difference. If all square after 18 holes, then extra holes shall be played until a winner is determined. Extra holes shall be played with full handicap difference applying as in the 18-hole match. Normally drawn mid-April we opened entries for the Wharfedale Trophy before the lockdown and then had to close it down. In anticipation of starting competitions again anyone wishing to enter this competition WHO HAS NOT ALREADY DONE SO can do so now. To enter please follow the instructions below. Before entering please note that any full member drawn against a weekday member must be prepared to play mid-week. 1. Send an email to seniorcomp@brackenghyll.co.uk 2. Enter the subject as ‘Wharfedale’; 3. Enter your name and contact number (by doing so you agree to it being published on the draw sheet). It is a joint responsibility to contact your opponent and agree a time and date to play. 4. £5.00 will be deducted from your account. Please ensure you have sufficient funds on your account. Note: To top up either call at or ring the Pro Shop – 01943 831207. 5. The closing date for entries is 30th June. The draw will be published shortly afterwards together with the dates by which each round must be played. 6. After each round the winner is to email the result to seniorcomp@brackenghyll.co.uk.
