| To all Tigers (new and old)
The new season is almost upon us and for new members (and old with a short memory) a little reminder.
With last years fixtures being cancelled due to Covid, the last time Bracken Ghyll’s 8-15 team played in the league was in Division 3 in 2019. On that occasion the team gained promotion to the 2nd Division on the very last match of the season.
This years league season starts for Bracken Ghyll on the 14th May 2021 and the good news is Division 2 has some good golf courses in that league.
Keighley, Halifax GC, Baildon, Rawdon, Bingley St Ives and Shipley.
As in previous years the matches will be on a Friday evening starting at 5pm, however where in the past a meal was provided at the end of the evening, this year, at the time of writing this message it has been decided that participating teams will not do this again due to Covid.
It is anticipated however a drink and maybe some nibbles may take place.
Apart from league matches there are numerous 8-15 knockout competitions for individuals, two balls and teams of 4.
