BGGC Foursomes goes live today!
The BGGC Foursomes (alternate drives and shots) goes live at 6pm today.A pairs competition, it is an 18 hole medal round open to all 7 day male members with a maximum handicap of 18. You can play if your handicap is higher than 18 but you will be required to play off 18. Playing handicap is half of the combined handicap of both players in the pair.

The top 4 pairs will go forward to represent the club in the national Daily Mail Foursomes competition.

1. The Competition takes place this Saturday 18th July, and whilst there are reserved tee times for the competition you can play at any time during the day. It is open to all eligible members with a ’C’ status handicap.

2. You can only enter the competition as follows:

* By email to menscomp@brackenghyll.co.uk. PLEASE ONLY DO THIS ONCE YOU HAVE A TEE TIME. Only one member of the pair needs to send an email.

3. By entering the competition you are giving us permission to debit your club cards for the entry fee. Please take time to make sure your cards are topped up. You can do this by calling Mark in the Pro Shop – 01943 831207 – or by dropping in and paying contactless (NO CASH).

4. Should you wish to withdraw for any reason after entering then you must send a TEXT to 07989 816 215 with your name and the competition you are withdrawing from.

5. On completion of the round verify your scores verbally and then sign your own card under players score. Your playing partners MUST NOT sign the card.

7. You should deposit your card in the box provided in the entrance lobby to the club or in the black letterbox by the front door, which will have the competition name on it. It’s then time for a beer!

8. Finally, look out for the result which will be available on the App and be posted on the website, in Perfect Lie and on Facebook. Prize monies for those on the podium will be credited to your account in the Pro-Shop and the top 4 pairs will proceed to represent the club in the national Daily Mail Foursomes competition,.
