BE AWARE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS on the course
With so many new members now is probably a good time to remind everyone of the various public footpaths that cross the course and that IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES WALKERS HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY.

The below is a list of those holes where public footpaths cross the fairway and extra awareness and care is required.
4th Immediately in front of the tee box.
7th Through the trees on the left from the lay-by on the A65 to the hole in the line of trees on the right.
8th Straight across the line of the ditch AND diagonally from the 10th green across the fairway towards the hole in the line of trees through to the 7th fairway.
10th 50 yards in front of the tee and immediately behind the green i.e. from the stone stile in the corner of the wall and then diagonally across the 8th fairway.
13th Across the ditch line.
16th Diagonally between the orange posts across the second level halfway down the fairway.
17th Immediately in front of the back tee.

Please familiarise yourself with the above and be aware as you stand on the tee at all the above holes (or the for 2nd shot on the 16th) that walkers may be present.

You should also be aware that public footpaths run alongside the 10th (on the right), 11th (on the right) and the bottom half of the 16th (again on the right).

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES WALKERS HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY and don’t hesitate to contact me should you need any further information or clarification.

Stay safe.
