| COVID-Secure Clubhouse to re-open on 4th July! |
| Following the government announcement yesterday we are pleased to advise that the Clubhouse will re-open on Saturday 4th July. With this re-opening date in mind your House Committee has developed detailed plans to ensure safe operating policies and procedures and full compliance with government guidance.
Fuller details will follow next week but all the necessary protection equipment has already been purchased including a safety screen for ordering at the bar, face shields, masks, disposable gloves and sanitiser. We have a planned entry and exit route i.e. a one-way system which will be clearly marked, as will safe-distancing and, as always, we will follow the guidance of government as relayed to member clubs by the English Golf Union. We would remind everybody that we underwent a full Health & Safety Executive inspection earlier in the year and came out with the top rating of 5 stars. You can rest assured that we will continue to operate to the same exacting, high standards that the premier award demanded. And finally, we look forward to welcoming one and all back into our ‘COVID-Secure’ clubhouse a week on Saturday, monthly medal day. Look out for fuller details next week. Ian Penny |
